PC gamers eagerly awaiting God of War Ragnarok may soon have their wishes granted. Following the successful releases of Ghost of Tsushima and Horizon Forbidden West on PC, Billbil-kun, a well-known leaker in the gaming community, recently claimed that God of War Ragnarok is headed to PC. This leaker has now revealed additional details on the matter.
In a new tweet on X (formerly Twitter), Billbil-kun stated, "The PC version of God of War Ragnarok will be announced soon. Unfortunately, I can't disclose the exact announcement date yet." With Sony recently announcing a new State of Play event, it’s highly plausible that the PC version of God of War Ragnarok will be unveiled at this event. The State of Play is scheduled to air at 11:00 AM on Friday, June 11, 2024, GMT time.
Currently available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, God of War Ragnarok has sold 15 million copies worldwide. The release of the PC version is expected to significantly boost these sales numbers. Additionally, there are rumors about a remastered trilogy of the original God of War games for PlayStation 5.
